"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I was so grateful I was able to go home (after catching two stray cats underneath the deck at work and allow them to find real homes). I got sweet gifts, but, besides my ability to go home, there was one that was just beyond the best.
My two best friends are identical twin sisters, and we've been best friends since 2nd grade. I moved away at the end of 5th grade and they moved to Texas during 7th grade, and we haven't seen each other since our junior years in high school. However, we're still best friends to this day; we're soul sisters and each others' families are our second families. So, I received exciting news from one of them: she's pregnant! I'm going to be an aunt! (Ok, not really... if anything, a "soul aunt.") She wants to have me and my family a big part of her baby's life, and we're gonna make that happen! She is due on August 30th, so I'm hoping we can spend next Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even New Year's together! Anyway, that's the news that I just can't stop thinking about!

I received good news that I will be able to go home for Christmas, even if it's just for the day.
One day, I will do another piece of artwork in celebration (since I haven't done an official one since my junior year in high school -- four years ago), but this year isn't one.
Everyone be safe! I got two feet of snow here yesterday and the roads were crazy.
